• Upon exiting the Penang bridge, follow the sign that says Georgetown.  This will take you to the coastal highway.
• Travel along this route, and keep on the left lane of the coastal highway.
• You will see Tesco on your left.  Proceed on the road with signs stating Tg Bungah and Batu Ferringhi
• Head on straight through the underpass. 
• After the traffic lights, you will see Shell on your left, followed by BP further up.
• Follow this road till you see Caltex up front.  Turn LEFT at the traffic lights BEFORE Caltex.
• Make another turn at the first turning on your left.
• The cathedral entrance is on your right.

By Car - from the Airport

• As you exit the airport, you will approach a roundabout.  Head towards Bukit Jambul/Georgetown
• Along the way, you will pass Bukit Jambul Complex on your left.
• Further up ahead, you will approach a roundabout.  Take the 12 o'clock direction at the roundabout.
• Follow the road which will take you to the coastal highway & Penang Bridge.
• Then refer to the directions above for guests travelling from the Penang Bridge.

By Car - from Georgetown

• Depending on which part in town you are coming from, just take the road leading to Jln Masjid Negri (Green Lane) - follow signboards.
• As you travel along Green Lane, you will see McDonald's on your left, followed by Shell, also on your left.
• A little further up ahead, there is a flyover just above the traffic lights.
• Head on straight and move to the rightmost lane.
• You will see Caltex on your right.  Turn RIGHT at the traffic lights in front of Caltex.
• Turn left at the first turning on your left.
• The cathedral entrance is on your right.

By Cab
Give the cab driver the name of the cathedral, i.e. Cathedral of the Holy Spirit.  If he doesn't know where it is, just say "Island Park, near Caltex on Green Lane", then refer to directions above.

The Reception

• Using the coastal highway, head towards the road that says Tg Bungah and Batu Ferringhi.  You will see Tesco on your left.
• Head on straight through the underpass.  
• After the traffic lights, you will see Shell on your left, followed by BP further up.
• Move straight ahead: you will see Caltex on your left and further up ahead, McDonald's on your right.
• Go up to flyover to Scotland Road.
• Drive along Scotland Road.  Along the way you will see the Penang Turf Club, followed by Heritage Club on your left.
• Follow the sign that says Jln Macalister and keep right.
• You will see Disted College on your left and further up ahead, you will see Island Hospital.
• Just follow the road and turn left.  Follow the sign that says Pulau Tikus and turn left.
• Slowly move to the right side of the road.  There is a Chinese temple on your left and up ahead Celcom, also on your left.
• Turn right, and then left.  Sri Pangkor apartments will be on your left, and Gleneagles Hospital on your right.
• Turn right again.  You are now on Jalan Sultan Ahmad Shah.  Move along this road.
• Further up, you will see Citibank on your left.  Just follow the road and you will see a sign that directs you to the E&O Hotel carpark.  We recommend the Multi-Storey Car park (which is the first car park sign you see) as there are only limited lots in the basement.
