Our Registry of Marriage

Our civil was a sweet and simple affair, held in the National Registration Department in Anson Road, Penang. We were the last couple to be registered for the day - we arrived at 10:30a.m.!and so we were allowed to loiter in the room afterward, taking pictures and hanging around.

BEFORE

The young and the restless (parents)...

Yes, yes...this is how you do it next time when you get registered!"

DURING

"Hurry up and get it over with!"
Addresed as Mrs Chua for the first time!
Exchange of rings at 11:11a.m....(accuracy thanks to digital camera technology :p)

AFTER

One big happy family (L-R standing): Pete's Dad Christopher, Pete's bro Patrick (also Pete's witness), Pete's Mom Magdalene, Peter, Joyce, Joyce's Mom Yvette, Pete's uncle Calum, Joyce's Dad Eddy and Joyce's bro Allan (also Joyce's witness). Seated is the assistant registrar, err.....forgot her name.... Missing from picture is our photographer for the day, Pei Gee (Allan's girlfriend and my maid of honor)

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
